Flexible and Prior Learning

APEL

APEL is a structured process that identifies, documents, and evaluates your previous learning and work experiences — to determine if they can be recognised for university admission, credit awards, or even full qualifications.

Microcredentials

Micro-credentials are official recognitions of specialized skills and knowledge acquired through professional experience, study, or practical application. By completing specific short courses or validating prior learning, these credentials provide a concise and effective way to highlight and affirm professional expertise and achievements. At UNIMAS, lecturers have the opportunity to create micro-credential courses either from accredited academic programs or as unique standalone courses. Participants will receive a Micro-Credential Certificate along with a Digital Badge as a modern and compact way to acknowledge professional accomplishments.
